February 26th, 2004 EVEN NELSON MANDELA HAS BRAIN FARTS Does anybody remember about seven years ago when Nelson
Mandela, Prince Charles and the Spice Girls all gave a joint press conference on
the lawn of Nelson Mandela's house and Scary Spice compared "Girl Power" to
South Africa's struggle with apartheid prompting Nelson Mandela to say something
like: "I think these girls are really brave. These girls are true heroes"? Do
you think that some mornings Nelson Mandela looks back at that press conference,
puts his head in his hands and asks himself: "What the hell was I
thinking?"
